Reference Books

There are a number of reference books you might find useful, including:

  • Encyclopedia of religion in American politics /edited by Jeffrey D. Schultz, John G. West, Jr. and Iain MacLean ; foreword by Helen Thomas.:
    Ref BL2525 .E52 1999
  • Gale Virtual Reference Library:  An online collection of reference books.  You can search a single eBook, or across an eBook collection.
  • Oxford Reference Online:  Another online collection of online reference books.  This includes dictionaries of the Buddhism, politics, world religion, and more.

In PacifiCat, search under keywords such as “religion and politics and united states”, “faith and politics”, “church and state”. For example, look at:
