Current electronic course reserve materials are available 24/7. Please see the Course Reserves page for more information.
All Pacific students, staff and faculty (including emeriti), are eligible to borrow library materials. Faculty family members and emeritus spouses are also eligible. A current valid university ID (available at the PacificCard Office on the McCaffrey side of Anderson Hall) is necessary for students, faculty and staff. Special Borrowers' cards may be available for other categories of borrowers. A fee may apply. Please inquire at the Circulation Department.

You may renew items yourself using the "My
Library Card" feature of PacifiCat, the Library's catalog. You must sign in to PacifiCat to proceed. Follow the instructions
to view your library record and renew materials.
Undergraduate students may renew most items once, unless a hold or recall has been placed by another library user. Faculty and graduate students may renew most items twice.

Interlibrary Loan provides access to books,
journal articles, and other research materials not owned by the library. This
service is available to currently enrolled Pacific students, faculty and staff.

is your first stop for research assistance. Librarians are available
to help you find the information you need. Ask questions in person

Learn how to search the library's collections and gain access to a wide array of electronic and Internet-accessible information resources including full-text journal articles. For more information about opportunities to learn about the Library, just ask your librarian!
Professors are encouraged to bring their classes to the library for instruction in using research materials and electronic resources. More information is available at the library instruction page.
Most library resources are available to Pacific students and faculty from off-campus
using their PacificNet ID and PacificNet Password (the same credentials used with InsidePacific).

Located on the main floor of the library, the Information Commons is a collection of computer workstations, software applications, and printers available for use by Pacific students, faculty, and staff. In addition to Windows and Macintosh workstations, the IC offers wireless Windows laptops for in-library use. The list of installed sofware on IC workstations includes Word and the rest of the Microsoft Office suite. Several specialized applications for specific tasks, such as statistics, mathematics, foreign languages are also installed on most workstations.
The Library Multimedia Studio is also on the main floor of the library, next to the Information Commons. Its six workstations provide the Pacific community with specialized computer software and hardware for the completion of multimedia-infused projects.
There is a full staff of Reference Librarians and IC Assistants available for help and training, and IC Assistants are available in the IC during all open hours of the library to assist with hardware and software questions. The library has two meeting rooms available for video and audio conferences, and one smaller room for simple speakerphone audio calls. The video/audio conference page lists the equipment for each room and provides information to help determine which room to book and what kind of conference technology you'll need.
Use the Dissertation and Thesis Authorization Form to request the binding of dissertations or theses. Please note that the form is PDF and should be printed, filled out completely, and returned to the Technical Services Department with the copies of the dissertation or thesis. Payment is accepted in the form of check, M\O, or cash. The Technical Services Department is located on the lower level of the Main Library, and is open Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm.
