During any given semester, course materials can be made available in a number of different ways.
https://pacific.blackboard.com
Materials such as articles, audio files, chapters, class notes, powerpoint presentations, solutions, syllabi, and Word documents may be made available through individual Blackboard course web sites. The best e-reserves are less than 1.0 MB in size. E-Reserves items may be submitted as a fax, on disks, CD-Rs, photocopies, or as email attachments. If a reading is available online, a citation is sufficient. Instructors are responsible for copyright compliance.
How to place items on electronic reserve: Faculty are encouraged to upload materials themselves to pacific.blackboard.com, but a course web site must first be created by Educational Technology Services (ETS). Library staff will gladly accept course reserves and make the Blackboard request on your behalf. In all cases, Faculty are responsible for copyright compliance regarding their uploaded materials. For more information about submitting e-reserve material through the library, contact library@pacific.edu.

Course materials can also be placed on Blackboard, a course management system that enables students and faculty to share documents, sound and video files, grades, discussion boards and more.
Blackboard and other instructional technology services related to Blackboard are handled by Educational Technology Services. Contact Nathan Finley for help placing materials on a Blackboard course web site.
Faculty may place books, papers, video recordings, sound recordings, music scores, and other materials on reserve at Main Library Circulation or Health Sciences Branch.
